Hired to assist and eventually promoted within 4 months to manage a long term project digitizing engineering drawings for Bonneville Power Administration; Tasks include large format scanning, image restoration and archiving drawings (dating as far back as 1911) using Adobe Photoshop and Bentley Microstation; Scheduling and meeting with client for monthly drawing exchange; Training employees to help assist with the completion of the project; In-house graphic design work including the layout of company's catalog and updating of website; Gained experience in managing projects, graphic design and meeting deadlines.

MAY 2001 - CURRENT: Freelance Graphic Artist
Developed and worked with numerous clients on their respective graphic needs including website design, business cards, post cards and other collateral materials; Communicated with clients throughout the projects on job progress and other issues; Gained experience in multi-tasking, prioritizing and time management.

AUGUST 2003 - CURRENT: NIGHT OWL RECORD SHOW - Organizer/Promoter
Founding member (1 of 4) of a tri-annual record show in Portland, OR; In charge of Promotion and Advertising design; Worked as a team to ensure the success of each event; Put on three successful record shows with a turnout of 250+ shoppers where sellers grossed up to $1000 in sales; Gained experience in event organizing.

JUNE 2001 - MARCH 2002: FRIENDS OF SEASONAL AND SERVICE WORKERS (FSSW) - Graphic Artist

As a volunteer, designed a 16 page newsletter and a catalog of sponsors; Created illustration for organization; Gained experience in file preparation and working on projects from start to finish.

Prepared presentation material for the company's clients ; Produced color-key overlays, analog waterproofs, positives and negatives; Gained experience in the presentation standards of the design industry.
